China completed 20,000 kilometres of bullet train tracks across the country on Saturday, the longest such network in the world. This comes amid China's competition with Japan to market bullet trains to countries like India. Currently, China is conducting a feasibility study for Chennai-Delhi bullet train network, while Japan is working on the ₹97,636-crore Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor.
