China gets world's first robot factory with a 'smart brain'
China's UBTECH Robotics and Siemens have opened the world's first intelligent humanoid factory in Guangxi. Built in a 14,000-square-foot area, the plant can produce 10,000 robots a year, or one every 10 minutes. It uses a digital "smart brain" to manage orders, materials and quality checks and follows a "robots building robots" model. Each robot undergoes four hours of testing.
