Morgan Stanley Chief Asia Economist Chetan Ahya said China in this cycle is lagging behind rest of Asia. The one thing in which China is similar to India and rest of Asia in this cycle is that they've not taken up aggressive fiscal transfers to households, Ahya said. China's economic recovery on consumption side is more organic, he added.
