China plans to keep the restrictions imposed on its border due to the pandemic for at least another year amid concerns over COVID-19 variants, The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday. The provisional timeline of the second half of 2022 was set during a mid-May meeting of China's State Council, it said. China had imposed the restrictions last year.
