The title of 'core' leader given to Chinese President Xi Jinping, is not a sign of him becoming a dictator, party officials said. The 'core' leadership gives Xi Jinping almost absolute authority and he cannot be questioned. Notably, past Chinese leaders like Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, and Jiang Zemin have also held the same post.
