China has launched two investigations into US semiconductor trade practices ahead of trade and economic talks between the two nations. One probe targets an alleged discrimination against Chinese companies in its policies on trade in chips. The second investigation examines suspected dumping of some US analogue chips used in devices like hearing aids, Wi-Fi routers and temperature sensors.
