During a phone conversation, China's foreign minister Wang Yi said to Indian counterpart S Jaishankar that China hopes that India was "opposed" to the "narrow mindset" of using the phrase "China virus" for coronavirus. This comes after US President Donald Trump referred to Covid-19 as "Chinese Virus". The coronavirus outbreak was first reported in China's Wuhan.
