China’s fourth aircraft carrier could launch in 2027: Analysts

China’s fourth aircraft carrier, the Type 004, has reached a construction stage that its third carrier, Fujian, attained about a year before launch, according to satellite images analysed by US think tank CSIS. The vessel could rival the largest US carriers in size and may use nuclear reactors. Beijing has not confirmed its size, propulsion system or construction timeline.
