China National Space Administration (CNSA) said its Tianwen-3 mission, seeking evidence of life on Mars, will try to collect and return at least 500 g of soil from Mars by 2031. The mission, set to launch around 2028, could potentially make China first nation to bring Mars samples home. Tianwen-1 mission had successfully landed Zhurong rover on Mars in 2021.
