Chinese military spokesperson Zhang Xiaogang said that the PL-15E air-to-air missile that India obtained during its conflict with Pakistan, was an export model which China had displayed at multiple defence exhibitions, Chinese state-run media reported. Xiaogang was responding to a question about whether India obtaining the missile could lead to reverse engineering of related military technology.
