In an interview with The Times of India, the Chinese ambassador to India Xu Feihong said that China is ready to import more premium Indian goods and help Indian businesses "tap into China’s market demand". He also urged India to provide a fair, transparent and "non-discriminatory" environment for Chinese firms. This comes despite India's trade deficit with China hitting $99.2-billion.
