China is spying on people worldwide and pushing its propaganda by gathering personal data from popular apps and games, an Australian study said. The study highlighted three Chinese apps - ride-hailing app DiDi, gaming app Genshin Impact and e-commerce platform Temu. "China is working to extend its influence abroad to reshape the global information ecosystem," the study said.
