US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth on Saturday said that China threat in Indo-pacific is "imminent" and they are not going to "sugarcoat" it. He stated that China is actively training to invade Taiwan. Hegseth assured allies in Indo-pacific that they will not be left alone to face military pressure from China. Notably, China considers Taiwan a part of its territory.
