China has revealed plans to build a lunar space station as part of its ambitious space programme between 2028 and 2035. The plan also includes sending a manned mission to the Moon and exploring habitable planets and extraterrestrial life. Under the space development program, China would study the origin and evolution of the solar system and characterisation of planetary atmospheres.
