China to launch Mars Mission in 2028, will bring back 600 gm soil

China has announced plans to launch its Tianwen-3 Mars mission in 2028, two years earlier than initially planned. The mission aims to return around 600 grams of Martian soil. Astrophysicist Quentin Parker said this new schedule is "aggressive", suggesting that there is a high chance that China could beat the US in the race to bring home the Mars sample.
