China unveiled its new high-speed maglev train capable of a top speed of 600 kmph and said that it's the fastest ground vehicle available globally. At 600 kmph, it'd only take 2.5 hours to cover over 1,000-km distance from Beijing to Shanghai. The train uses electromagnetic force to "levitate" above the track with no contact between body and rail.
