China's Alibaba has said it is planning to split its business into six main units covering e-commerce, media and the cloud. Each of these units will explore fundraising or initial public offerings. All the units will have their own CEO and board of directors. Alibaba Group's Daniel Zhang will continue to serve as its Chairman and CEO.
