China's annual exports fell for the first time in seven years in 2023, customs data released on Friday showed. The country's exports, measured in US dollar terms, stood at $3.38 trillion in 2023, marking a 4.6% drop from the previous year. This is the first such annual drop for world's second largest economy since 2016, when exports fell by 7.7%.
