Chinese leader Mao Zedong had said the then Indian PM Jawaharlal Nehru should be "crushed" for interfering in Tibet, according to a 1959 document released by Woodrow Wilson International Centre for Scholars. India had given shelter to spiritual leader Dalai Lama and his followers after they fled from the Chinese oppression in Tibet.
