China's trade surplus rose to $94.5 billion in December, taking the total trade surplus for 2021 to an all-time high of $676 billion. Its exports in December stood at $340.5 billion, taking the full-year total to $3.36 trillion, as per customs data. The country's total imports for 2021 were at $2.69 trillion, including $246 billion in December.
