China's Wuhan, where the coronavirus pandemic began, has revised its death toll from 2,579 to 3,869, an increase of 50%. The city also revised up confirmed cases by 325 to 50,333. Authorities attributed the revisions to four reasons including unreported deaths at home in the early stages of the outbreak, late/missed reporting from hospitals, incorrect registration of death certificates.
