Formula 1 has extended its contract with the Chinese Grand Prix till 2025. The race in Shanghai was cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to travel restrictions. The venue has not been added to the 2022 calendar due to "pandemic conditions". "China will be restored to the calendar as soon as conditions allow," F1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali said.
