The 19th Asian Games have officially been declared open by Chinese President Xi Jinping in Hangzhou. The 19th Asian Games were scheduled to take place in 2022, however, they were postponed by a year due to rising cases of COVID-19. Asian Games will have 61 disciplines in 40 sports and will conclude on October 8.
