Chinese researchers have claimed to have developed a material that changes colour at a molecular level based on surrounding light, creating a new form of camouflage. The researchers said they managed to achieve Harry Potter cloak-like "invisibility" through self-adaptive photochromism (SAP). The innovation has potential applications in military, architecture and beyond, researchers said.
