Chinese Taipei's Chou becomes oldest Badminton World C'ships medallist

Chinese Taipei's 36-year-old shuttler Chou Tien Chen defeated Indonesia's Alwi Farhan 21-15, 21-15 to reach the men's singles semi-finals at the Badminton World Championships 2026. With the win, the world number six became the oldest World Championships medallist after assuring himself of at least a bronze medal. This is Chou's second World Championships medal after he won bronze in 2022.
