Located at the intersection of Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka, Chorla Ghat was once used by thieves to hide from the British. After the passing of the Thuggee and Dacoity Suppression Acts, 1836-48, thieves began to take refuge in the forests of Chorla. With over 100 waterfalls and streams, it is now a dream destination for nature lovers and trekkers.
