American actor-comedian Chris Rock will be hosting the 88th Academy Awards, producers of the event, David Hill and Reginald Hudlin announced on Wednesday. "I’m so glad to be hosting the Oscars,” Rock said. He has already hosted the Oscars once in 2005. The 2016 Oscars are scheduled to be held on February 28 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
