Christopher Plummer, oldest actor to win an Oscar, passes away aged 91

Christopher Plummer, who became the oldest actor to win an Oscar at 82, has passed away in US' Connecticut. The 91-year-old died with his wife Elaine Taylor by his side, said Lou Pitt, his longtime friend and manager. In his over 50 years in the industry, the Canada-born actor starred in several films, including 'The Sound of Music' and 'Beginners'.
