Former Rawal of Salumber Devvrat Singh, royal Chunda family's descendent, made a small cut on his finger and used his blood as 'tilak' for BJP MLA Vishvaraj Singh Mewar at the latter's coronation as Maharana of Mewar. The centuries-old tradition symbolises loyalty and sacrifice. During the five-hour ceremony, Vishvaraj performed a 'havan' (religious ritual) after entering with a royal entourage.
