CISF on Saturday announced that the DG's commendation DISC will be awarded to three officers for their "outstanding efforts" during the rescue operations at Kerala's Kozhikode airport. The awardees are Deputy Commandant/CASO Kishore Kumar AV and Assistant Sub-Inspectors Ajit Singh and Mangal Singh. An Air India Express flight overshot the runway and broke into two pieces killing 18 people.
