America's investment bank and financial services company Citigroup has announced that it plans to exit retail banking in 13 global markets, including India. The other 12 affected markets are Australia, Bahrain, China, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Poland, Russia, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Citigroup's Institutional Clients Group will continue to serve clients in these markets.
