CJI Surya Kant declines Opposition's meeting request

Chief Justice of India Surya Kant refused to meet Opposition leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi on Monday, citing pending related matters before the Supreme Court. The Opposition had sought his intervention over police crackdown on Delhi protesters and alleged electoral irregularities, including concerns over the Special Intensive Revision of voter rolls.
