The family of a Class 2 Hindu student alleged that the child was asked to learn 'Kalma' (an Islamic declaration of faith) as homework at a private school in Hyderabad. A video showed the child's aunt confronting a teacher at school, saying, "Kalma is not homework for our kids. That is completely unacceptable." Pictures of the homework have also surfaced.
