Claude can now read & reply to Gmail threads without user approval

Anthropic's Claude AI is now able to draft and send Gmail replies. Users can ask Claude to find unanswered messages, understand the context of a conversation and prepare a response. They can also choose whether or not Claude needs approval before sending, but asking for approval is the default setting. The Gmail integration is part of Claude's Google Workspace connector.
