Claude down globally including India, errors hit multiple models

Anthropic's Claude AI is facing a global outage, with users in India and elsewhere reporting disruptions. Downdetector showed over 1,300 reports in the US and more than 180 in India, with most complaints involving Claude Code, followed by Claude Chat. Anthropic said it has identified the cause of elevated errors affecting several Claude models and is working on a fix.
