Climate change may cause species' habitats to shrink by 23% by 2100: Study

The University of Cambridge said mammals, birds and amphibians globally could lose 23% of their natural habitat range due to changes in land use and climate change by 2100. It said the species have lost an average of 18% of their natural habitat. The study analysed changes in the geographical range of 16,919 species from 1700 to the present day.
