A cloudburst hit the Chatroo area of Kishtwar in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, triggering a flash flood. The flood inundated markets and residential areas with boulders, mud and slush, sweeping away at least two vehicles and disrupting traffic on the Kishtwar-Chatroo-Sinthan National Highway. The authorities have ordered the closure of schools in Kishtwar, Doda and Ramban districts.
