Audio chat app Clubhouse is laying off more than 50% of its employees in a bid to "reset" the company, founders Paul Davison and Rohan Seth told employees. Clubhouse's popularity skyrocketed during the COVID-19 pandemic and was reportedly valued at $4 billion in 2021. "The product needs to evolve. This requires a period of change," the founders said on Thursday.
