West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee wrote to CEC Gyanesh Kumar, expressing concern over the ECI's order for the sudden transfer of senior state officials after poll dates were announced. The officers transferred include the Chief Secretary, Home Secretary, and DGP. Calling them "sweeping transfers", she alleged the moves were made without citing any misconduct related to election duties.
