After becoming the first BJP CM of Bihar, Samrat Choudhary allocated portfolios in the state cabinet. He kept 29 departments, including Home Affairs, Law department, and Cabinet Secretariat. Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Chaudhary was assigned 10 portfolios which include Education and Transport, while Deputy CM Bijendra Prasad Yadav received eight, including Energy and Finance.
