Aadhav Arjuna, a minister in Tamil Nadu CM Vijay's cabinet, objected after Vande Mataram was played before the state song at the oath-taking ceremony. 'Jana Gana Mana' was played after Vande Mataram and then the state song. "As per the earlier practice, the Tamil invocation song will be played at the beginning...and the national anthem at the end," he said.
