Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took to Twitter to announce that Vivek Agnihotri's film 'The Kashmir Files' has been made tax-free in the state. The film has now been made tax-free in several other BJP-ruled states, including Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Tripura, Goa, Karnataka, Uttarakhand and Haryana. The film depicts the mass exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the state.
