Tech news website CNET is laying off 10% of its workforce (around 12 employees), the Verge reported. The layoffs come weeks after news broke that CNET was quietly using artificial intelligence to produce articles. CNET Editor-in-Chief Connie Guglielmo will also step down from her role and become the senior VP of AI content strategy, the Verge said.
