American news channel CNN has dropped Believer show host Reza Aslan after he called US President Donald Trump a "piece of shit" and "an embarrassment to humankind" following Trump's reaction to the London attacks. Aslan later apologised, saying, "I should have used better language to express my shock". He said it was best for CNN and him to "part ways."
