US-based Bramshill Investments' Co-founder, William Nieporte, sued his $8-billion company for firing him over his non-compliance with a return-to-office policy he himself mandated. Nieporte, who ran Bramshill with his two schoolmates, was fired in 2022 for allegedly "willfully and deliberately" failing to report for in-person work. His lawsuit claimed his firing was an excuse to usurp his role.
