Coal mine explosion kills 10 miners in Indonesia; 4 rescued

An explosion at a coal mine in Indonesia's West Sumatra province on Friday killed 10 miners. Four other miners involved in the incident were rescued. The blast, caused by noxious gases including methane, occurred in a mine in the Sawahlunto district owned by a private company. "Most of the victims suffered burns," said a spokesperson for the local rescue agency.
