India's coal stock depletion at power plants slowed over 50% in October, with daily drawdown falling from 0.243 MT in September to 0.116 MT, the Ministry of Coal said. Supplies rose 9% and railway loading averaged 465 rakes/day. Inventories are stabilising but yet to recover, with rebuilding expected as monsoon recedes.
