French designer Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel, who was born 123 years ago on August 19, 1883, introduced the 'Little Black Dress' in 1926. Popularly known as an 'LBD' now, a picture of the dress was published in Vogue Magazine with the words "The Chanel 'Ford' dress, the frock that all the world will wear".
