Coffee prices are set to rise by up to 25% in the coming weeks, Reuters reported. Roasters such as Lavazza, Illy and Nestlé (Nescafé owner) are in talks with retailers about passing on costs of rising arabica coffee prices to the consumers. Arabica prices have nearly doubled over the past year following successive seasons of deficit due to adverse weather.
