Coforge Chairman OP Bhatt resigns after board audit flags concerns

Coforge on Wednesday said Om Prakash Bhatt has resigned as Non-Executive Independent Director and Chairman of the Board with immediate effect, following concerns raised by an internal audit over the company's recent board evaluation process. The IT services firm's shares fell as much as 8% following the announcement. Coforge has appointed Vivek Sharma as interim Chairman.
